I have a Kenmore 90 Series. A few weeks ago our electric dryer stopped heating completely. My first step was to replace the two (2) thermostats on the heater coil housing. I also replaced the thermal fuse on the duct housing. Still no heat, but it ran like a top. I replace the actual heater coil and now I have heat to spare. Step 1: Unplug the dryer from the wall and turn off the gas!! The parts we are going to touch will be live so you don’t want to get shocked. Turning the gas off is just a precaution.
