The average is around 30 fps regardless of what you think. If you had read my post you will see that I already said it different for each person and can be slighty higher or lower then that 30 fps average. Regardless you will never be able to tell the difference between 60 and 200 fps so again there is no reason to not use Vsync. Basically it's impossible to reach a fixed 60 fps on eso due to the poorly optimised game engine which can't use resources efficiently.

It's because of the server mate,you can not lock fps with online game since it's not just depends on your machine but your computer seems like a group from your machine to the server. If the server delays your machine would got a slow respond too. Even my GTX 980 can not maintain 60 FPS stable not even to mention about 30 fps

Aug 07, 2017 · If your PC is powerful enough to push PAST 60fps, then sure, you can lock it. There are two methods. A) Force the game to render exactly 60 frames a second. Works only on some games that support it. That's the one thing I haven't tried, but I can't see it will make a difference. As Rip says, I have seen a few people say the same... were previously getting well over 60FPS, then suddenly it's locked at 60. Very very strange. My desktop res is definitely not 60Hz... I've set in Nvidia control panel, and tried everything between 80-100Hz.

If you want to take it even further beyond with things like a 144 Hz monitor, there’s a way to manually uncap the FPS. It involves modifying the game’s files and utilizing this mod. I was capped at 60 FPS until I updated Intel GPU driver. It doesnt make sense for me but that did the job. And by the way if you are playing on the notebook display (which is 60 Hz ) you dont need more that 60 FPS. Sometimes 60 FPS with V-sync ON is better that 100 FPS without V Sync.
Just because vsync locks a 60hz monitor to 60fps doesn't mean simply having your fps locked at 60 is going to accomplish the same thing. There's more to vsync than simply locking your frames at 60 To be more specific , sometimes a frame can stay more than another on the screen and the monitor doesn`t wait for it at the refresh, so there will be ... usually with the GAME DVR closed, fps should be fine. but today after the computer updated win10, the fps drops from 150 to 60, sometimes 30-40. would somebody help me? my XBOX game DVR was disabled, NVIDIA was updated, and Vsync was turned off thank you! .

Nvidia says 60 FPS at 2560x1440 takes an RTX 2070 Super. This is a bit of a strange one, because Rockstar's recommended specs talked about GTX 1060 cards being a great match.
